Maris Black did an outstanding job writing "Soul Storm." I found the book hard to set aside.
Dang the song just killed me, I don't even know how to explain the book. It's heartfelt and amazing, I love it!
I love all of this author's books. She's an auto-but for me. She writes love, passion and all that good stuff like no one's business. I highly recommend this book and author.
I love Dave and Luca!!!! I think I have a thing for Luca's because I just loved him to the bottom of my soul. Dave is an awesome character which he shows so many different and emotional sides of himself. Just hooked me in but it was over to quick...how many parts were cut from the final product?? I just wanted more...
This was so unlike what I've read from this author. The story was a struggle to read I completely glazed out during pages it was so boring. I've read all of Maris' books and this seemed to be written by someone other than the author whose name is on the book.
I couldn't put this book down!
I am a Maris Black fan and proud of it... Luca and Dave are such an unlikely pair, but boy do they have so much chemistry. I guess when you fall in love, you just do. It was so emotional when the two first met and sparks flew as soon as they did!
I love books with singers in them, especially with such a picture of how they look like. I can just picture him singing Soul Storm. What's great with the author is that I can actually picture both Luca and Dave initially at the bar when they first met and it was love at first sight really!!! This is the part I liked best about this book. How cold and uncaring Dave fell head over heels in love with him at first sight.
I was so moved how he (Luca) touched his (Dave's) heart and actually made him smoke a cigarette again... (Too bad that they both smoke).
Thank you also for printing and placing the lyrics of the song Soul Storm... The ending was unexpected (though not really complaining), and was glad that it did ended that way. It was a total HEA after all. "Owning Corey" was a lot more heavier read (and drama) than this. Though I was glad that it was a "making me feel good" and happy kind of a book. Finished it in two days...
I just wished that Miles will have his own story (soon... wink, wink) with Junior Grimes. We aIready knew how Miles was hurt from a previous relationship. I saw some sparks there during the last part of the book. Miles keeps on mentioning him at the beginning of the book as well. I'm wondering... Can you please write a book with Miles and hopefully Junior in it?
Maris Black really knows how to draw you into her stories. This book has super hot sex scenes, a grieving singer, and a corporate big shot, as the MC'S.What's not to love! If your a fan of Maris Black add this gem to your collection. If you haven't read any books by Mrs. Black this is a perfect start. No cliffhangers and beautiful HEA!! Get yours today!
